Default Back where I started.

I had a white 97 whitetail in .45 cal I had to sell it to buy the white ultra mag which I do not regret at all it is a wonderful gun. After I lugged the ultramag for some 20 miles the first day of the deer season and about 15 milesthe next and 5 miles the next, the arm and shoulder cried for something a little lighter. So I bought a whitetail in .45 again I happen to find used. Funny how some of us get rid of a gun because you just never take it out or use. Then you just end up wanting it again. Well i sit at work today wishing I had taken more time off for the hunt. I have 3 more days to find me a deer here in utah. I passed on 3 two 2 points and a spike.

And that is why I never sell my rifles... Thanks for the proof positive that my method of accumulation is not excess but a working model of the right way to be prepared.

"working model of the right way to be prepared"

We all need to commit that to memory. Or just commit Dave.

Heard the Navy is building a new battle ship and asked Dave if they could melt down his guns for the steel. Figured it would be just enough for the job.

I have rifles I haven't fired in MANY YEARS, but I still drag them out, oil/grease them, pat their stocks, and admire them from time to time. My widow is going to have a lot of guns to get rid of, to say nothing of powder & shot!!
