Here in Washington state our ML season for elk starts on the 6th of October. I just got back about an hour ago from setting up part of our wilderness camp. We have a 14x16 wall tent with wood stove. It is so nice coming in from a day of hunting to warm tent, drying out your clothes and falling asleep to a crackling fire in the stove. PTL for horses to haul all this gear in.

My load for elk is an A&H 420, 460 grain no excuses and 110 gr 3f, #11 caps and iron sights.

happy day to all of you and happy hunting.

Great thing isn't it!
I'm heading out Wed. We have a bull and cow tag for moose + 3 calf tags.2 whitetail doe tags and 3 buck tags, 1 doe/buck tagand 2 bear tags. Moose are our primary goal though.

Good luck to you. I hope you have a great hunt.

Good luck to you. I will be heading out to WY at the end of the month for elk too. I'm chomping at the bit.

Would need another tent out back for me. I snore like a wood chipper.

Usually we have several tents, a small wall tent for me and my bddy ernie, then another dome tent for my boys, but only one of them is coming up this year and we thought we try this one out this year. wWe all snore badly, except for my boys.

you say like a wood chipper Semi, I once stayed in a hunting camp with about ten guy and one of them had a son with a sinus -pallet defect. I kid you not this was the loudest snoring I have ever heard, we called him "Jake-brake", cause thats what he sounded like. After the second night thekid and his dad slept intheir truck canopy.
