The other evening I was pleasantly suprised when I got avery good group shooting a 350gr .458 cast bullet in a 50/458 sabot with 80 grains ffg T-7 in a 1:48 twist T/C NewEnglander.
Well, I had to try it again, but this time used fffg Goex. The light wasn't quite as good this evening and with the open sights I expected groups to open up a bit. They did, but still shot well.About 3
" @ 100 yards. At 100 yards I was stringing them on elevation, but windage was a straight line.
I think I'll order a couple more packs of the .458 sabots!
