If they make a 25ACP for your rifle - it is so much cleaner than any 209 system.... I shoot a 25acp in a Omega and a 32 H&R Mar in an Austin and Halleck.... much cleaner...

Yes it would and it will work but you are still shooting an open prime in a nipple much the same as a 209 - so you are still going to get soot and blowback.... The 25 seals the case against the nipple reducing the blw back and soot problem...

That is the part that i do not know... Do they make a 25acp system for the LRH..... and then again with a Knight maybe the plastic insert stops the soot and blowback - I do not shoot a knight so i do not know...
PM wolfhound76 - He KNOWS Kinghts - think he might have a "dotorate degree" in Knights...

I dont think they make any 25acp breech plug conversions for a Knight. I looked all over and couldnt find one for my Knight. I dont think the Long Range Hunters use the disc.I maybe wrong on this . The guru of Knight Mr. Wolfhound will know.I would just try someof the various 209 primers.
I also shoot a LRH and there is no .25 ACP breech plug available. You can however get the variflame adapters and use the small rifle primers. Before you do that consider buying the power stem breech plug and use loose T7 powder, this is very clean set up using remington 209 muzzleloader primers. I'd also like to mention cheaper and very accurate. Look at this photo. I have shot several groups like this one using this set up.
I talked with Knight about the power stem, they said if i was not shooting a 52 caliber LRH that it was no benefit to shoot the power stem, it only gets you 100 ft/sec more and they did not recommend using it in a 50 caliber. I was going to change to the power stem but after talking with knight i am going to stick with what i got unless i can get to the 25ACP, how would i get to the small rifle primers for the LRH?
