That is some interesting information. I was shooting a 10mm 200 grain Hornady XTP in the blue MMP sabots today with 105 grains of Pyrodex RS and I set it there for the same reason you did, I set the measure wrong. I later changed the charge but I shot off 12 rounds of 10mm at 50 yards with 105 grains of RS. It would be intersting to know what they topped out at, but at least I know they would have been more then 1800 fps.

thanks for the information.

What I found interesting was the speed of FFF Goex. Ithink with maybe another 5-10 gr of powder, that it would match the T7 velocities. I also noticed that the Pyro RS and the 3f Goex left a crud ring in the breech. The Pyro more so than the Goex. I could defineately feel the resistance when I was swabbing.

T7 was the cleanest of the bunch.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a collection of such data from every possible reliable source? Make a nice reference book. There are enough guys out there with chrono's and muzzleloaders that such a work could be generated - if everyone would take the time and provide honest, accurate and thorough results.
