Default TC Pro Hunter .50 Cal

What is the best option (if any) to use. at the bottom end of the ram-rod when loading a 250 gr.TC shockwave. I have been using just the ram rod itself. Example: Barnes makes a bullet aligner for the MZ Expander, but I like the TC Shockwave.

Is there anything proven to increase accuracy on the above scenario???

There are jags made for loading those bullets if that is what you mean.

There are loading jags made to load shockwaves as well. The ones I bought even have the knurled texture sides, so you can swab the barrel with them as well. The Barnes jag will also work of shockwaves.

You might want to look into http://www.prbullet.com/sj.htm or one of the new loading jags that spin with the rifling of the barrel as they move the projectile down, to be seated.

I found that the Barnes bullet aligner touches and pushes down on the sabot part of the 250 Shockwave, I didnt think it was a good thing. Does a Jag / bullet pusher help with accuracy -from loading the TC shockwave more consistantly.

I think you always get better accuracy using a loading jag over the end of the ramrod ...

I like and us the TC extension jag on my range rod and the same jag in the short version for my hunting ram rod, they both are designed for SW's. Lee
