I have finally finished my assignment up in Colorado Springs and am back home in NM. While in Springs I made more than a couple of trips to Sportsmans Warehouse. The last couple of visits there I noticed on the clearance table several boxes of Barnes MZ bullets. The first time I noticed them I checked to see what the price was. They told me they were $18 a box for 25 bullets and sabotsso I bought a box of the 285's to try. They showed promise at 100gr of 777 with a 1" group at 50 yards so I went back and bought the other 2 boxes they had. This works out to 72 cents each (not counting taxes) which I thought was pretty good for Barnes bullets, Midsouth wants over $20 a box for them.
Sounds like an OK deal to me.What do you all think?

I also bought some of the 285 grain TXZ Barnes and found the only way I could get them accurate was to push them to the max in my Knight Disc. Anything less then a max powder charge and they were all over the place.
Sounds like you made a real good deal.
