Default HELP on Savage M/L !!

Guys I have a Savage muzzle loader model 10ML-11 .... I put JUSTa primer in it just to shoot and blow it out (make sure it was clean) and now I can not get the primer out of the ejector or bolt ...not sure what the right terminolgy is for discribing the piece that the primer slides into on the bolt ...can any one tell me how to remove the primer ..I did fire it and it fired fine.

Close the bolt and trigger it again, it should pop right out...

If that don't do it just take a screw driver and get it out.You may want to try different brands of primer to see which one workd better.

Recock the bolt and dry fire it. The pressure of the powder igniting drives the center of the primer backwards. Recocking the the bolt and dry firing drives the primer center back into the casing so it can be removed. I have the same issue when using Winchester primers. When I tried Remington Kleenbores, I couldn't even open the bolt without reefing it as hard as I could. To eliminate your problem, you could try this:
