Knight Disc Elite 45cal

First, I'm new to this most awesome forum. Second, I'm a novice to muzzleloaders. I have few friends who all own Knight Disc Extremes 45cal. I found a chance to purchase a brand new knight disc elite black syn stock witha SS barrel for $179.00. I jumped on it.

I'm open to anyand all advice or suggestions as I learn more aboutmy new purchase. For example, whatcombos are you usingwith regards to powder and sabots? I'm quickly learning that 45cals aren't as popular50cals, but never theless, they are darn good shooters. If you own one or are familiar with them, sound off. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.. its good to have you here. As for advise with that .45 caliber Knight.. sorry I am of little help. I almost bought the same rifle once, but passed on it. If I were you, I would ask my friends that shoot that rifle and caliber and see what is working for them. Another thing is, give Knight a call and ask them what shoots well. They are more then glad to help you out. Last is a place called Precision Bullet http://www.prbullet.com/pts.htm check their sight out as the rifle you have is one I think they tested and have made bullets to work in it.. Also there is a wealth of information there.
