Anyone know what thread size a cabelas hawken uses? Made in italy. Im getting ready to go sight in my fathers rifle for him and this nipple is nasty and i want to replace it with an SS spitfire nipple.
Frontier - that should be a 1:48 twist barrel, same as my 54. Let us know what you shoot and how it performs. Looks like I may be trying mine for the first time this weekend as I'm running low on ammo for the 50 GM barrel.
yes its a 1:48 twist. So far i have his rifle loaded up and ready with 80 grains fffg triple 7 and a 348 grain hollow point powerbelt. First shot was dead on @ 100 yards, Held a little higher to see where the second shot would hit and it hit exactly where i aimed. Really accurate rifle with the powerbelts. Im just waiting for the 295's to come in so my brother can sight in his cva hawken.
