Default Load question?

I just bought my first smoking gun (CVA Kodak) and was wondering what everyone who has one of these guns are using load wise. What kind of bullets and how much powder.I was just wanted to get a good starting point for this weekend when i go to let the smoke roll.

Default RE: Load question?

I usually shoot 250gr T/C Shockwaves and 120gr of APP FFG or Pyrodex RS, or 110gr of 777 FFG. I also use 240gr Hornady XTPs with the same powder charges. It likes the same load my Omega does ; groups a bit wider and doesn't feel quite so solid, but still I play with it once in awhile and lend it.

I might suggest 90g of 777 2F and push 300g xtp or 250 sst. Good luck!
