I have one that I use for day to day stuff to collect the points. I pay it off each month so I don't pay interest. It works good for this purpose, but it has a high interest rate, so I wouldn't keep much of a balance if you don't have to.

I just bought a T/C Omega by using my Cabelas points. I use a credit card for everything and pay it off when the statement arrives each month. If you have never owned a credit card just be aware of how they work and have the maturity not to abuse it and end up in debt like a lot of people seem to do.

Ive got one too. Pay it off each month. for me, Iuse it for my business expenses so my points are adding up fast.

Like others have said, be VERY carefull. At one point, I was near in trouble with them. its very easy to say 'charge it....ill pay it off on my next check...' Then that check comes along w/ the bill and the two dont match. Youve charged way more that you have $ for. Then starts the interest charges.

Also, FYI, it will take you somewhere around $40,000 in charges to 'pay' for your muzzy. Thats supposing your trying to get it for free. Thats a lot of charging.

If you decide to get one, pmail me. Id like to get the bonus points for having a friend sign up and use my name.
