Default .50 Ballistics

I use PCB software for my centerfires and rimfires. I go on manufacture websites to get velicities etc. and plug them into the program. This gives me a staring point for sighting in. I know there is no substitute for shooting at range thats why I say "starting point. Is there somewhere to get this info for muzzleloaders? Velocity info for different powder bullet combinations? For instance...If I am shooting 100 grains pyrodex with 250 grain Expanders, what would be my muzzle velocity, and optimalsight in @ 50 - 100 and what is the drop @ 150 - 200 yards?

Go to the powder and bullet manufacturer's websites to try and get your velocity and ballistic coefficient. You'll get about 1800fps from a 28" barrel shooting a 250gr bullet and 100gr Pyrodex RS. Sight in 2" high at 100 yds, you'll be about 2 1/4" low at 150, and 11.5" at 200.

Thanks...I dont know why I didnt think of that. How about barrel length? I have a chart, but it doesnt go below 2000 fps.
