Default Found a good load for the Disc Elite...

3 777 pellets and a Knight (Barnes) PBT 290 grain in the EZ load sabot. Three shots at 100 yards measuring 1 5/8"... not to bad in 90 degree heat. Anyone shot a critter with these bullets? Here in S.C. it will mostly be deer and Hogs for me... some of our hogs can be in the 400lb range so I like that this hot load shot well and that big 290 Barnes should hit with a thump!

Damn good shooting! I know what you mean about that 90* weather. After 5 shots today i was done. Im waiting untill evening to try a new load out. Seems like you're enjoy the rifle. Things can only get better as you practice with the rifle.

Good group Flint Head!! I noticed that the TMZ's have the new ez load sabot. Do they load easier, as advertized?

Kevin, they do load nicely... the bore on my Elite is very tight. I tried to load a 250 Barnes MZ in a HPH 12 and all most busted a gut [:@]but these are as they say EZ...

Very nice shooting and that load would stop about anything in the woods you will encounter.
