Stopped yesterday for something totally unrelated but found myself over in Sporting Goods... they had just put out some of the ML stuff so naturally I had to look... well, there they were again another rack of Winchester T7 primers - STILL marked at $2.00 -> thinking ahead as I try to do - I bought the hole rack 12 packages, when I got to the check stand they rang up $5.34 - I said no-no they are marked $2.00 back there -she called and I got em - but somehow I think they are going to change the price...
What I did not like was T7 powder was marked $26 and change - that is not a good sign - Pyro was still hanging there around $17...
Just FYI

Our walmart stinks. We're lucky if they even sell an elk call during hunting season. Powder has gone up. pyrodex was $17 a lb 3 months ago, its now $23 while triple 7 is only $21! How that works, i have no clue. Lead balls have went up a few bucks too. I paid $12 for a box of 100 Speer .530 roundballs. I would say its cheaper to make my own, but then i have to remember that soft lead isnt even available locally. Oh well, If i can pay $ 3.50 a gallon for gas, i can spend the cash on muzzleloading items that i get use out of.
Yep 777 has gone up to darn near $27 here in Indiana. Picked up a 50 cout of xtps for $21. Last time I bought them retail I paid $18. I think mid-south is $11 and change.
I like to get my walmart stuff at the end of the season when it's super cheap. Those primers were a good deal. I think pyrodex is running $16 here, and T7 $23, not for sure. Usually clearance them at about $8 and $16 after season.
You cant even buy hunting supplys at walmart here except for some cheap cases and some cheap camo. Our walmart got busted for selling guns without registering them.
I did the exact thing sabotloader. Except I only bought 10 packs. They were not very happy to give them to me at the $2 price but hey, you snooze you lose.
