Default Weather Shield vs. Stainless

Which is better? The Weather Shield claims to be nearly rust-proof but seems to be cheaper than stainless.

Default RE: Weather Shield vs. Stainless

I think the problem is.. this "weather shield" concept is new. It is something since many of us do not have a lot of experience with simply have to take the word of the manufacturer that it is "better." Stainless Steel on the other hand is something many of us can relate to. We understand how well this product works.

So it boils down to whether you want to take Thompson Center's word or claim as it may, that weather shield is better then stainless steel. Right now, without a couple years of on hands experience using the product, I think it might be to early to make the decision of which is better. You will just have to place your trust in the company.
