Sounds like Midsouth has a new way to rip folks off.

never hear of such a thing.. there must be a mistake. I would have called them and asked what was going on. It seems strange that this kind of thing would happen. But I sure understand why you went somewhere else to purchase..

hazmat on BULLETS?! i'd be shooting them an email with a few, not so find words. I could understand a fee for fully loaded centerfire bullets, but not just for the bullet tips!

Re-read their FAQ, no mention of hazmat for bullets. I emailed them your experience. See what or if they say. I've used MidSouth for years, one of their first 8,000 customers and they have always done right by me.

I just went there and placed the same order as you did for the 200 gr 10mm XTPs. There is a $9.84 cent charge for UPS ground shipping and handling fee, but no hazmat. I don't know what ot tell you.

Just went to Midsouth to order some more 10mm/200's and there was a $9+ hazmat fee whenI went to check out. I don't remember seeing that before. They lost the sale to Cabelas. Has anyone run into a hazmat fee on pistol bullets before? Strange...
I just received an order from midsouth which included hornadys xtps and didn't have the charge. I thought the hazmet was only for powder and maybe primers.
