Default Such a deal

Did some Ebay shopping over the past couple of weeks and bought a T/C Hawken stock complete with lock (percussion) and all the brass, a Green Mtn. .50 cal flintlock barrel, and a T/C flint lock. Three different auctions. I now have me another flinter with an extra percussion lock for right around $200. Can't wait to get it out and see how it shoots.

Very cool. I was not aware that the FL Lock would fit into a Percussion stock. I have a TC FL 50 cal that I bought of Gunbroker.com for $300 last year. Used it last Penna FL season and got a nice doe with it. I would like to get a TC Renegade, since I like the plain look of them. I guess I could keep my existing Hawken barrel and buy just aRenegade Stock and switch the lock and the barrel over to the new stock. Would that work? Chap Gleason

That is the way to make a nice rifle and save money to boot... way to go.
