Default new scope

Picked up another Nikon Pro Staff 2x7x32 this afternoon for my CVA. The first one I bought I put on my 1187 slug gun. Vowed I'd get another for my muzlleloader. Diicks still have them for $129. I was checking out and cash register make a little beep, the "associate" asked me if I wanted to buy their extended warranty for $17.50...... I declined. Anyhow, got some crushed rib sabots, barnes 250gr MZ expanders, bought some XTP 45/300gr to try out too, and plenty of powder. The weather is suppose to be nice soI hopeto do some shooting tomorrow. Oldrookie I'll let you know how those barnes did and post some pictures.

So...they asked you if you wanted to buy the extended warranty for something that already has a lifetime warranty? Does that mean with the lifetime warranty and extended warranty that you get warranty in your next lifetime?

I am going to get a Knight TK2000 shotgun and want to mount it on my camo turkey gun... Should make for some interesting patterns out there.

$89 for a Nikon that is a good deal. The 32mm objective lens is not too small field of view? Chap

I use the same scope on my White Ultra Mag, and it is IMO a perfect muzzleloader scope. Excellent clarity, excellent eye relief, life time warranty, and so far has held up to all the abuse I put them through.

That's a great deal on that Nikon. I almost purchased that same model for my KRB. I ended up getting a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 with firefly recticle instead. I mulled over a lot of different scopes and really liked theclarity and features on the Bushnell.

Bushnell are great scopes without arguement. They even honored a warranty on an old 4X Banner I had on a high power rifle. I think my nephew unscrewed the back end of it because it was suddenly fogged up. He was cleaning my rifles for me one day.

I sent it back to Bushnell to be fixed, fully expecting to have to pay, because of the age of the scope. They sent me a note back and said, unable to repair, and there was a new Banner 4X with an invoice that read ... No Charge.
