I just bought a new Omega, and it can hold a 150 gr. charge. Does this mean 150 gr. of T& also, I understand that it is more powerful or rated differently somehow than the others. Would 150 gr. be safe to shoot out of the rifle?
I have always shot a CVA Buckhorn and I have never wanted to test it as far as taking safely a magnum charge, so Im not real sure about what dto do - Im sure this is an easy one for you guys.
Thanks!!

Read your manual. The manual says the rifle can handle 150 grains of Pellets in some of the recommended loads. That is if your rifle is like my Black Diamond XR, which I am sure it is, you would be fine. Loose powder I believe the restriction is 120 grains. But... 120 grains of loose powder is all the horse power you would need to hunt about anything. IMO the rifle could handle 150 grains of loose powder but you would never need it. Beside, the recoil and cost of powder would not be a bonus.
My BD likes 110 grains of loose Triple Se7en 2f for some of the 250 grain loads. While your rifle can handle the big charges like 150 grains, but the accuracy might not be as good as with say.. 110-120 grains of loose powder.
