Wal-Mart had it when they have their hunting stuff out, usually around July 4th or thereafter. Don't buy it online too expensive with the Materials handling fee of $20. Call the place where you bought the gun and ask. The plastic case is the sabot, that goes around the bullet and is forced down the barrel of the gun. Chap Gleason

Check some of the sporting good stores in your area that carry firearms. Have you noticed the new sporting goods carry only sports gear? What's with that? When I go in there I want guns, powder, ammo. Not soccer balls.

Wal Mart Gander Mountain, Dick's Sporting Goods, any of the major sports chains, sells it, but the store near me does not have it on the shelves yet. Until then, the black powder you have will do just fine.

Like already said, that black plastic case is the "sabot" and comes in different sizes according to the bullet you put in it. Also the bullet and sabot load as one unit. I saw a person once load the sabot and then drop the bullet down the barrel figuring the bullet could then be pushed into the sabot I guess. Needless to say, they did not have a short starter. But that is not the way to do it....

Dixsporting goods nor walmart carry powder here in Indianapolis. We do have a couple Gander Mountains. Not sure where the poster is from but Gander, BassPro, Cabelas will have it. Oh if you have a Sportsmans warehouse they will have powder.
