Grn Mt. renegade barrel on the way!
Pulled the trigger on a replacement 50 cal. green mt barrel for my renegade. Finally had enough Cabelas points to order one at no charge, so couldn't pass it up. Have a feeling if it shoots as well as most have experienced, I may take it to Colorado this fall!
I have the 54 cal original barrel, so I got the 50 cal so I can use the same bullets as my Omega.

I sure like my GMB. There might be some minor adjustment you need to make to the thimble rib but other then that, some of them fall right into place.
My 1-28 likes 100 grains of Triple Se7en and about any sabot I want to stick down it...

Yes, but I am only intersted in conicals. Hopefully it will live up to being a concal shooter too. We will see......
I especially hope it will shoot the 460 grain no excuses. They sound like really good elk medicine!

The 460NE should work fine in your barrel. I shoot it in 1:28 and 1:32 barrels and both shoot it well. I'm getting ready to order some 460 Bull Shop bullets to try out next.
