Range Report (broke the muzzy)

I had a mixed day at the range today. I got some good shots off and shot some roundballs into an ice jug. I will post a pic of the roundball later. I only recovered 1 out of 3 balls. The other 2 went out the other side. I was having fun shooting and trying wads. After a about 7-10 shots I pulled back the hammer again and it would not come back all the way. I got out my screw driver and took it off. A little piece of metal fell out (very little). I can not figure it out. I will have to send the lock back to TC and have them fix it. The best part of the day was when I was just getting ready to take off. This is a private place I shoot with only 1 or 2 benches. We have to talk to the land owner before we go out there. Turns out some other guys know the land owner and got permission to shoot there to. Just before we got in the truck some other guys showed up. We got to talking and they are into muzzleoading to. They only had some centerfires to sight in but not thier muzzys. They were really cool and I got thier #'s so we can shoot together. We are also going to go in on a big powder order!Now I have some muzzleloading friends. Powder is $20 per # of Goex an hour away. We are all going to order some for $10 per pound and save some $$$. I am excited. A bad day turned into a great day!

Sorry to hear about your rifle. I am sure T/C will fix it. I just wonder what it could have been that broke.

Good to hear you found some other shooters. At least that is an information source, and like you pointed out, you can ban together and get some cheap powder.
