cva shot gun barrel

I have a cva optima muzzleloader. Anybody know if the optima shot gun barrel is interchangeable with muzzleloader receiver?

oldrookie, i was looking at budsgunshop and it looks like only the optima Elite has a shotgun barrel

I did however find my next new rifle! hehehe $362 for an SS elite and 30-06 barrel.

Not sure but I thought the Optima Pro also had a shotgun barrel available. Try calling CVA and ask, they will know for sure.

Which Optima shotgun barrel? The ML one is, and the cartridge one isn't. It's only compatible w/ the Elite. I own the ML one and really like shooting it.

Got a email reply from CVA today. The Optima and Optima Pro is the same receiver. Only difference between the two is the length of barrel. Therefor, the shotgun barrel will fit either gun. Looks like turkey season with black powder!
