Default I fit both criteria!

I took this bird this morning with my Pedersoli Dbl 12ga. I thought I would pose the bird next to this sign since this gun meetsthe requirements for the public land I was on.

excellent... outstanding job there. What kind of load do you use in that shotgun and how far did it reach out and touch turkey?

I called it in close, 15yds. No need for a long range load today. I use 70gr of APP 2f, Winchester AA wad, 90gr volume #6 shot and a felt over shot wad. I have it patterned well at 25yds and would feel confidant at 30.

In my .62 caliber I use 80 gr Pyrodex RS and 100 gr of #5 shot in a Winchester AA wad. It will roll a coffee can around out to 30 yards and that is good enough for me. I tried to pattern it one day and discovered it shoots 2 inches to the right. I have not changed the sights yet, but that does explain why I missed a couple grouse this winter.
