They did, but I would consider it a modified bolt. It was the Thunderhawk. If I'm not mistaken there was a system one besides the blackdiamond.
A true turn bolt w/ locking lugs like the older Savage w/modules was not going to be considered a ML by the ATF so Savage had to change the design to hold the primer in the bolt face or itWOULD require a 4473 to be filed out by a buyer. The ATF figured a person could modify the rifle to a shoot center fire cartridges w/a different barrel and felons then could own high powered rifle.
