Default best load for winchester apex?

I just picked up the Apex today. I got the stainless steel version, and was wondering what those of you who are getting tight groups are shooting with. Thanks for the input.

bowhuntn87, I've been getting excellent groups at 80 yards with 80 grains 3f Goex and 270 Buffalo Ballet. There is lot more I would like to try. Scoutdad57 has an MOA load for his but I don't recall what it is. Dmurphy317's first load in his printed 3" groups at 200 yards (pretty sure that shockwaves were used in his). You may try a search of posts they have authored to find it. Good luck with your new rifle.

Yep, 1.5" at 100 and 3" at 200 using 130gr of Pyro Pellets and a 250 Shockwave. I was surprized that it shot that well with the first load I tried. I've been told the 200SW shoot real wellout of an Apex with loads up to 150gr of pellets but I haven't had time to try that yet.

I couldn't get good groups with any bullets in my Apex so I bought the Omega and started getting good groups in 3 shots. Hope that helps[8D]jk---I can't help you at all.
