Default Big Thanks To Everyone!

Just wanted to say thank you to all those that responded to my previous post. I called Cabelas this afternoon and told them to cancel the return/exchange business.My12mm socket and 3/8" ratchet worked just fine taking the breech plug out as didthe allen wrench set I use for my compound bow. I got to take it out this afternoon and for the first time ever shoot a muzzleloader. I gotta tell ya it was a lot of fun and I don't know how everyone else's shot, but I put my first three shots in the 10 ring at 100 yds with the iron sights(don't think I'll need that itty-bitty allen wrench teachhunt). My father-in-law's .375 didn't shoot that well and he had a pro install the scope and bore sight it. I was shooting 90 gr of 2f 777 and a 240 gr T/C Cheap Shot sabot. I know it's cheap ammo but I spent all my money on the gun.

Again, thanks everyone!

Bill

Well it sounds like you have it all under control and already worked up a great hunting load. Congratulations on a great rifle and I hope you keep having as much fun shooting the muzzleloaders as I do. They are addicting, so be careful or next thing you know you have rooms full of them.

Yeah they're addicting but it's so much fun trying to figure out what shoots the best from each gun you have. Cayugad only has 1 or 2.....hundred

Glad to hear it!!! Mine didn't shoot worth a darn out of the box(sights not on). I bought 245 grain powerbelts to shoot it some more. I got some good groups out of it so far. Congrats on getting it before they were gone.
