Default Goex in Wisconsin?

Our son just bought a flintlock and today we tried the Triple 7 fffg. It fired once every 2 or 3 (or 4 or 5) tries. Read on this forum that we really need to go with Goex or other black powder but nobody seems to carry it around here. The nearest Goex distributor (according to their website) is in Onalaska, WI -- about 2 1/2 hours away. We're located between Madison and Fond du Lac. Anybody know where we might get some Goex or other black powder tomorrow? Our son leaves on Friday for Viginia (Navy) and we'd like to put some holes in the target. Thanks!

Be sure and call that place before you drive all the way there if that is your plan. Other then that, I have no idea where to buy it anymore in Wisconsin. I get mine by the case from Powder Inc.

Would Goex Pinnacle work in that rifle? I bought some at the Gander Mountain in Brookfield, WI. I would think any GM would have it. Just a thought.

There a shooters supply in Racine that carrys it! I can't think of the name of the place, I just kinda know how to get there. I'm sure if you look it up in the Yellow pages its probably the only place around. It also has an indoor shooting range! I try and see if I can find the name!

Pinnacle does not work unless you duplex the load. If you want a fast igniton, only black powder seems to work.
