Have any of you been here? It appears that this guy thinks that anything that's non-American is crap. In all of the ratings he gives CVA, Traditions, White, and a few other companies horrible names. The only companies that make his list are the American ones. He calls all of the imports Spanish junk. Anyways,I was just wondering what ya'll thought of it. Who is he and where does he get all of his notions? He must test the guns. I know that a few popular hunters such as Randy Wakeman have written things on there. If you have any thoughts, share please.

Yeah we all know him. He used to come in here. I think the last time he and posted back and forth i told he was a dumb a-hole that talks out of his a$$.. Or some where along that line. I think he got banned? His reviews are simply about who will pay him the most to write good stuff. Some of his views on rifles are accurate but very nit picky person. Like the red/green fiber optics not suiting him or the red and green safety posistion paint on the x-150. He knocked that but forgot to mention the old TC's that had the same thing. Green for no go. and Red for fire. He calls cva/bpi junk due to one bad rifle coming out that was a hand cannon and which is only half true, not all of them were. Im talking about the cva apollo. He talks trash about barrel pressure and all this yet not one person here or randy alone can answer my question to what the american gun makers rate their barrel pressure. And his study about flintlocks, This guys been smoking way to much pot. His theory, Only seat the ball lightly on top of the powder so it can get oxygen, Pssh wtf did he come up with this? I tried it with over 20 shots and had zero difference. What i did notice is that when i am able to get alot of hot spark into my flash pan, thats when my gun goes boom like a percussion rifle. But as my flint wears down, it'll start slowing down ignition a little. The guy has SOME good topics to read but everything needs to be deleted off his website. Hope my opinion of the guy answered any questions you had/have

Yeah, it did answer my questions well. That's exactly what I thought. I do think he has some good topics and some good advice but most of his stuff is bullcrap if you ask me. I guess everyone has their opinions. I do think he recommends certain things for money though. Most of the stuff he saysI can not find to be true through anyother hunters. He has helped me a bit though. I'm glad I don't listen to everything he says.He had me hating a bunch of things like Powerbelts and CVA and stuff. Ibelieved in him so much thatI didn't even check on his theories myself. He writes in magazines doesn't he?

By the way. One thing I did notice is that he doesn't recommend any junk. All of his recommendations are for good products. Unfortunately, he's also bashed a lot of good products.
