Default new omega X7

Just ordered my new X7 got it throughcabelas for 399.00 which I didn't think was too bad I got the laminated blued version it's supposed to be here day after christmas I can't wait.

Congratulations! Oughta be a fine rifle for you. Did you use the $20 off deal. Gotta love it. I've been working up a scheme fer one myself, we'll see.

congratulations on the rifle.. I looked at a stainless model in a store the other day, and it was a real nice rifle. I am not sure if I care for the peep sight, but the balance and fit of the rifle are excellent.

I looked at a stainless at BassPro the other day and I agree with Cayugad, very sweet rifle. I may have to start saving somecash for one in the near future. Even though I did like the sight, I'd probably end up putting a fixed low power scope on one.

Was that rifle drilled and tapperd fro a base?
It was not mentioned in the catalog!

Also curious as to wether it is drilled and tapped-ready for a scope.
Or is this an Iron sight only version?

I don't know, I haven't got it yet, I never thought about that though I hope socause I'm not going to be happy with open sights.

I am sure the rifle comes tapped for scope bases...Although I am not holding one in my hands.

I called TC and yes it is drilled and tapped for a scope she said I'll probably have to remove the rear sight but I figured that.
