Default wolf 50 cal muzzleloader..

hey fellas. this is my first post in the black powder forum, since i just started recently and just bought my first muzzle loader today. I bought a Wolf, break action 50 caliber. It was only 200 bucks. does anyone have one of these or heard anything about them? The guy at the gun store said it was very reliable, accurate and durable, but he of course was just trying to ge the gun sale. What are your opinions on this gun, for better or worse. Thanks alot guys

I personally do not have one. A friend shoots 80 grains of T-7 2f and a 245 grain Aero Tip powerbelt out of his Wolf clone. He also shoots 240 grain XTPS. There are a lot of Wolf owners who can tell you their special loads. You might even search Wolf and get hits to your question.

I have one but will be selling it soon. Not because there's anything wrong with it.....I found a good deal on a T/C Omega and couldn't pass it up. No room in my house for 2 ML.

I will say this about it. At $200 you paid a high price. Mine was $140 when I got it and they are down to $109 now. I'm going to ask for $200 for mine including the scope.

I bore sighted it then took it to the range with a BSA scope. Took just 7 shots to get it zero'd at 100 yds. Took my first ML deer, a doe, Saturday.
