Default I'm moving on folks

I believe that it's time I take a vacation from this ML room.... perhaps find a new home base to discuss this fine sport.

Poster Frontier Gander & I just don't get along & I learned long ago that using the 'IGNORE' feature just doesn't work. All it does is allow the ignored poster to say more lies & slams using hidden words. I tried the emailing/personal messaging thing a month or-so ago to avoid confrontations with him- but that was an internet hassle with posters I was responding to.

To all the newbies that arrived here recently, if you need any help or good advice, click on anyone butposter frontier gander's name. To all the regulars, it's been loads of fundiscussing & dissecting the art ofmuzzleloadingwith all of you. To AJ52, you have been the best ML moderator anyML forum roomcould ask for.

Take care folks!
Joe

Nice having you around. Good luck!

P.S. HP muzzleloading hates traditional hunters. Think about that.

Best of luck to you too bad you are leaving.

Thank you for all the help you have provided.

lol triple i dont have any problems with you. You give your opinion and i give mine. You andI bring out the good and badabout muzzleloaders and i think when we do that we helpout newbies and show them that no two muzzleloaders are alike and that they need to shop around and test out others before they make a final decision before buying.

My advice to the newbies: Don't put very much stock in what any one personsays in an internet forum (especially me!). Check multiple sources for any info. And whenANYONE starts making personal attacks, consider giving his/her post less weight in the overall picture. Thereis definatelysome black and white infoin shooting a muzzleloader, but as with everthing else, there is also lots of grey.

bigcountry,

Trip ain't going anywhere. He may not make his presence known publicly, but he willbe here all the same. He'll be lurking with the "Hide from online user list" option clicked. He will still be helping the newbies only you will not get to read the things he says about anything. Someone wanting an X150, a Genesis, an Optima, a Pedersoli Denali, willsuddenly change his mind and you will be reminded that his spirit still lives on. He has done this before, he will do it again.

You know, I thought he genuinely was happy for me about my new purchase. Now I just don't know what to think.

Gee, I've had a run-in or two with some pretty obnoxious people over the years on various & sundry forums. But since the well-intentioned and polite folks always seem to outnumber the SOB's, I have not let ANY of them run me off! Triple 7, I wish you'd reconsider, since you are a valuable contributor here.....

Just ignore the ones that bug you!
