Default Nitty Gritty on the cleaning

I recently bought a T/C Omega and have been shooting with it 2 times and want to make sure I am doing everything I am supposed to do in cleaning so as to get a nice long life out of my gun. I watched the DVD that came with it in the kit and I follow all of those instructions-

Swab with cleaner and dry patch between every shot

Swab completely clean when I get home (usually 5-7 cleaning patchesbefore I stop seeing crud on them) and then dry swab it.

Use a bore butter patch after all that is done.

I use a breech plug thread cleaner (little red plastic thing that looks like a tap that threads into the breech plug threads and back out) and lube the threads.

I use a container of breech plug solvent and soak the breech plug, brush it, dry it, lube it and reinstall.

Is there anything else that you guys could recommend to ensure I am doing all that I can do? What do I need to do to it for long term storage?

Default RE: Nitty Gritty on the cleaning

What your doing is perfect. Doing the same thing every time between shots and between shooting sessions will maintain accuracy. With my Encore I do almost exactly what you do. They say to just clean the breach after you sight in and at the end of the season but I do it every time at the end of a shooting session since its really not that hard. I have over 500 rounds through my Encore and its more accurate now then ever before.
