Default Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of this muzzleloader?

Its a cva kodiak pro 209 magnum

The Kodiak Pro Magnum was made to compete with the Thompson Center Omega. They are a break open/pivot block action. Many people really like the balance of them. I've never owned one, but read a lot of reports about them. From all indications they are good shooters. Some people are concerned about the barrel testing issue relating to BPI rifles. If this is not something that bothers you, then there is no real problem with them.

Ok, when u say break open, what do u mean? I think the optima pro magnum is the one that is the break open?

your right.. I think they consider this a pivot block. Where the Optima is a break open.
