I was just wondering how many shots it takes to start to enlarge your touch hole on a flintlock. I have about 350 shotsout of mine and i noticed the other day while cleaning it, that its starting to enlarge. Just a tiny bit i noticed at the bottom of the touchhole. Im having very slight delays but i think thats due to the old powder im using. 20+ year old powder. Its not a big deal right now but i was just curious to how many shots you can usually get out of your rifles if they have the removeable liner. I'll order a few to keep around as spares, Something like $3 and some odd cents at the possibles shop.
I keep spares around the house as well.. I have not enlarged mine yet.
