Default I'm Impressed

I do believe i've found my combination, after taking this buck with my muzzleloader, I think ive found the right setup with 100gr Triple 7 and Powerbelt 295 Aerotips. I hit this buck at 50 yards, he trotted about 20 yards and had the most amazing blood trail ive ever witnessed. I wish i had pictures of it, it was a perfect heart shot and the blood trial was sprayed no joke 6 ft wide for 20 yards. When i went to field dress him him heart was basically mush, the bullet held together well, not expanding too much, the exit was just about 2x's the size of the entrance. I like the performance of this etup and will continue to use it out of my Wolverine 209. heres some pics of the deer and the shot, i didnt think about getting a blood trail pic or an exit hole, you can see the entranc ein the second pic. Just wanted to brag i guess and suggest a load!!

Matt - congratulations on taking a fine deer. With a muzzle loader, that makes it that much better. On that bottom photo, I am going to guess that the hole is an exit hole. Looks like a heck of a nice placed shot. And it's always nice to have a blood trail, even if you don't need it.

Congratulations! Yes, muzzleloaders do make impressive blood trails, don't they?

yep when you put the bullet there they don't shake it off, then shortly after they start leaking bad. Glad your happy with your results, I can't get power belts to shoot in anything I have.
