Default BP cleaning

I have read several posts from shooters who clean their BP guns with washer fluid and alcohol. What is the proper mixture of these two?
Also, Does this mixture clean the threads of the breech plug area adequately or is there a better solvent to use to remove anti-sieze compound?

Default RE: BP cleaning

Your mix or alcohol by itselfworks fine on swabbing and light-to-medium cleaning. But you want areal solventfor removing copper. Washer fluid, Windex or alcohol won"t do it. Whenever cleaning, use a bore brush and large patches (2-1/2 or 3") for best results.
