All I can tell you is I have a 2-7x32mm Nikon Pro Staff on my White Ultra Mag. This is one great scope. Hunting this week, season closes at 4:52 pm. Well with that scope I could have stayed in the woods. While I could not see into the wood with the naked eye, through the scope, I know I could have taken a shot.

This scope has really been bullet proof. I take it on and off the rifle with Warne QD rings and it is always back to true zero. The eye relief is excellent, clarity excellent and parallax free to 75 yards. When I was looking for scopes, this one was recommend by people on this forum and the gunsmith who owned the shop I bought it from. He had much more expensive scopes, but advised me to take the Pro Staff as they "never come back."

I have the same scope as cayugad...which my father liked so much he put one on his 308. What sold me was the lifetime warranty.

Just in case it needs to go back.

I have a new never mounted 2X7 ProStaff in camo if you are interested drop me a PM. I also have a used3X9X50 Buckmasters. I showed it to a guy I work with and he hasn't let me know if he wants if yet. All Nikons are nice scopes. Can't go wrong with any of them IMO. I just have too many scopes and not enough guns right now.

According to the Nikon rep they are the exact same scope.. except the Buckmaster has turrets that can be turned by hand w/o the need of a coin.. and has an adjustable eyepiece. But optically they are exactly the same.

I have the Nikon Prostaff 3-9 x 40 on my Omega and it works like a charm.
