Default Velocity Question

For anyone that has shot this particular gun, powder, and sabot combo through a chrono what muzzle velocities did you get. T/C omega, 100 grains of 777 and a 250 grain Shockwave sabot. How high would you sight it in at 100 yards for shooting out to 150 yards.

1835 fps with 100 grains of loose 777 and a 250 grain Shockwave. This would be only a guess but I'd sight in 3" high at 100 yards. I will run some ballistics and see what I can come up with for you. Before you attempt a 150 yard shot, if you have the facilities, shoot out to 150 yards..

using a BC of .210, muzzle speed of 1835, diameter of .452, at 3.1 inch high at 100 yards you should hit dead on at 150 yards... http://biggameinfo.com/BalCalc.aspx You can run it yourself. Its a very impressive load.

Thanks guys. I will give it a whirl at the old family gravel pit. I have room to shoot out to 300yds and often do with my centerfire rifles but I think 150yds will suffice for a BP gun.

Todd1700

I was shooting 110 grains t7-2f with myWhite the chrono averaged 1860 ft./sec.

The chart indicates it was shot from my A&H - I forgot to change it..

Hope this helps some...
