Default Which ML to buy?

I am looking to buy a ML soon. I really don't want to spend a bunch thinking $300 tops. I have been looking at the Traditions Pursuit. TC omega blued barrel and composite. The CVA Optima and the CVA Kodaik Magnum. Which one would I be happier with. And do I need a SS barrel? Thanks for your help this will be my first ML and need a place to start. Thanks If there is a feature that I should stay away from on one of these please point that out. Thanks!

Personally I would go for the Thompson Center Omega, although you will get mixed reviews about all the rifles. What I always tell people to look at is warranty, longevity of the company, the materials the rifle is made out of, customer satisfaction, and over all out of the box accuracy. I think you would not go wrong with Omega in all of those areas.

Be sure and look for good buys on good muzzle loaders. Last year Bass Pro shops was selling Knight Disc Elites for $200.00. Yes they were all 45 caliber but normally sold for twice that much. A few months back a guy on this forum was selling them in 50 caliber for around $230.00 still a good buy. I bought one from Bass Pro Shops last year and I love it. Before you buy do your home work and you will get the best deal out there.
