Default Leupold QR base and rings on a Omega

What size QR rings will be best to give me room to cock and release hammer on my Omega. I have a nikon omega scope. I bought and tried medium but it just seems a little tight with the hammer plus I cany even get my scope caps back on. Thanks

Default RE: Leupold QR base and rings on a Omega

Thanks for bringing this up, I have been wondering about those Omega scopes and been contemplating buying one. Will have to make sure it will give me clearence in that area before I do.

I dont have an Omega, mine is a ProStaff and there is plenty of room with regular Leupold QR mounts on my scope.
