Default I now have a hole on the gun rack.

Dropped off the old Renegade finally at Foxridge outfitters. I need to get that lock fixed and upgraded. I tried for months to get it to shoot good but I gave up using it for hunting the way it was. It will be fixed and all the upgrades I assume. I really did try to get it to shoot well with the originol lock set up but no such luck. The people there when I dropped it off really loved the stock on it as do I, some of the best looking wood I have on any gun no matter the price. Let me clarify that probabally the best wood period.

Well even though the repairs are going to be free (good ol' T/C lifetime warrantee) I still left $50 poorer.

I bought 5 packs of Cheapsots for my .54 at $2 a pack (ten cents a round) and a new sheath Knife made by some outfitter out of Alaska that will make a perfect patch knife and all round light duty soft tissue knife.

I don't think I ever visited Foxridge without buying something.

those places are dangerous for me to visit also. Because I usually end up dropping a bundle. Did you notice the price on a new Hawkins .58 caliber Flintlock??

Sorry Cayugad, I only handled one rifle when I was there. $419 to replace my Renegade if I wanted a new one set up close to mine. I saw a few of the Hawkens though and they usually run $450-$500 at Foxridge. Some a tad more.

It is fun seeing the people eyeball that old rifle Made me feel pretty good.
