It is summer time and I bet he is spending his time in the outdoors. When fall comes he will be back.

Pittsburghunter,
I'm still here.....just been busy working and playing hard outdoors. I bought a fishing boatthis spring and I've been fishing with my son Josh. He loves to fish, like I love to hunt. We've been having a blast together and "yes" he's a better fisherman.
I just bought some Platinum Power Belts Bullets from Cabela's last week, so I've got to give them a try....soon.
Have you bought anything lately?

Sounds like a good time with the new boat! I have been pretty busy as well but get to chat a little at night. Havn't shot in a couple of months in fact I bought a new T/C flintlock I have not had a chance to shoot yet.

It's brandy new, bought at Fox Ridge Outfitters. A Pennsylvania Flintlock with a 1:66 barrel. Pretty cool didn't know T/C still made them. I wanted the new FRO Carbine but They were sold out of the model I wanted and this thing is Identical except the longer barrel. (It doesn't have Fox Ridge stamped on the barrel either)

All the places I use to shoot at around here are shut down and I haven't found a new place to shoot yet. I have to go to camp or my hunting partners sandpit to shoot now a days and both are hours away.

The time to travel that far usually means spending the night and I am busy building a new kitchen.

Pittsburghunter,
The Pennsylvania Flinter sounds like a lot of fun. Is this is your first flintlock and is it a .50 or .54cal.? Looking forward to future reports on this ML.
I'm so lucky that I can shoot in a rock quarry just down the road. I like to go there to get out of the wind or when there are a lot of people at my regular shooting range. The private shooting range I go to is about 10 min. away and for the most part, empty most the time. They limited the number of people in the club to 100, but that 100 can bring friends. It's usually not a problem until we get closer to the hunting season. If the bench's are full, I'll turn around and go home and grab my portable shooting bench and head to the quarry.
Your not done with your kitchen project yet? You better get it in gear and get it done.....the hunting season is right around the corner. LOL
