Best accuracy for target shooting (in my opinion) is a blade front sight.

I'd go with a thin blade front site. Fiber optics are all fine and good but not for target shooting. Also, Thompson Center makes a real nice Peep that attached to the tang of your rifle (I have one on one of my Renegades). The Williams I believe you have to drill the barrel. This brings the peep closer to your eye where you will not need to focus on it as the eye will automatically do that. I do not like the Williams Peep as much as the Thompson Center. I have a Williams on a different Hawkins.

Thanks for the replys guys. Cayugad this sight is supposed to attach to the tang of the renegade, made for the T/C Hawkin or renegade. Will the factory front sight be good or should I plan on changing it too. I wanted a T/C peep sight but this sight was some what cheaper. I know cheaper ain't always better but $ tight. I have got a T/C Hawkins on lay away that my wife is getting me for my B-bay,might have to splurge and get a T/C peepsight for it. These two rifles will be mostly for bench shooting my deer M/L is a New Englander,85 grns T-7 And a PRB.

On my Renegade, I am still using the original front site on the rifle with the Thompson Center Peep. It is a very accurate set up.

With my rifles on which I am using an aperture rear sight for target shooting, I use a Lyman 17A globe front for which there are a numbero f options ofblades or globe inserts. But I replace the 17A with a Redfield Sourdough for hunting, and never put a hood on a hunting front sight.
