Default What caliber?

What would be a good caliber for bunnies and coyotes? I would be shooting roundball. Maybe 36 or 40?

Now I have a 54cal. Can that be toned down for coyote and small game? Some day I thing I would like a little small game rifle or barrel for my Renegade. But first I want that 58cal GM.

For bunnies and squirrels..... 32 caliber.
Thunder-ridge-muzzleloading haseither .310 roundballs or 32 caliber Buffalo Ballets.

For coyotes, just plug them with your 50-cal.

A .32 is a fine little rifle. I have some 103g maxi's that I shoot out of mine and they are very accurate with the 1:48 twist. I bet they would dispatch a coydog real well.

Maybe its not necessary to have another rifle. If you stick to head shots a 54 RB works fine for small game. So does the 50/40 sabot wit a 180 or 200 gr bullet.Lee
