The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself.
I saw online somewhere that the Encore Pro Hunter 209x50Cal. was about $570 or so. All it is, is an Encore with upgrades to the stock, hammer, and comes with a new breech plug. It also comes with a 28" barrel thats fluted. Same gun as the Encore, same performance.

That's what they told me at the gun shop here in NH also. $725.
I think it's expensive, but probably worth it. I just bought a Encore and after two trips to the range, I'm in love! It's my fist ML and I find it really fun to shoot.
