Now that I am playing around with my Omega I find it comes up perfect with the iron sights with my cheek firmly on the comb. Just lifting my head a little to simulate having a scope I too would loose contact with the stock. It feels like the stock is a bit thin as well as not being tall enough. If it was thick enough at least the lower face would still be in contact.
I can see how that pad is going to help with your scope set up. I am awaiting results.
Me too, i have gotten myself so busy I haven't been able to shoot the last to weekends, I am starting to go "stir crazy" - hopefully next weekend. In the house and in the backyard sighting on birds in the trees it sure helps...
Let you know hopefully next week.

Now that I fixed the sights on mine I can't wait to get it out again. I hope it shoots well as is because I want it to be a nice spare or pouring rain rifle.
I hope to get less than 3" groups at 100yds with it. Plenty good for woods hunting around here.
