Default Putting a shine on a sneaker.

Well I decided to make my Z5 Omega look a little more like a real Omega rather than the $109 Walmart special it is. I had already swapped out the sights with the top of the line Encore fiberoptics but I could not deal with that fugly black plastic stock anymore.

At any rate out came the spray paint.

No just plain ol Krylon special purpose camo. I didn't have all the colors I wanted (I had used up the brown and light green on other projects) but I like the look. Many of the camo jobs I see with the leaves and such are too shiney and fake looking. This I can chuck in the woods and you can't see it. I will add a little brown when I buy a new can.

Nice paint job! It should serve the purpose in
the woods. My Omega is blk. syn. stainless I
like the look. But thats why theymake more flavors
than just vanilla [8D][8D][8D][8D] Any way nice job.

That is true Aquatech. I actually don't like plastic stocks but an Omega for $109? I had to buy it. You should see how it really came out my cheap camera does it no justice.

I am warming up to this little pos I was trying to hawk. I think I might get a Simms pad for it not that it needs it but they look cool.

Now that T/C made the front sight good I can't wait to shoot it again.

I did the same to my Deerhunter 50.

You will eventually find-out that the best cleaning agent to lift the spent powder off that green paint after a long spell at the range& protect it from moisture is going to be either Ballistoil or Breakffree CLP in spray cans.

Either one will keep that painted stock looking clean, shiny & protected.

P.S.
Tell the truth!
How many beers did you swipe out of that red cooler to complete this paint job...lol????? [8D]

nice job! i got my omega for the same price but i think im gonna get the thumbhole stock for it. i dont like the balance or feel of that stock at all. the cva optima stock and set up blows it away i think. i dont know why the thompson center stuff even the encore just feels weird and front heavy. the optima that my brothers sport shoulders like a dream in comparison.
