If you shoot the Aero tips, you should use a special tip. I have on so you don't damage it while loading it. If you shoot the hollow points, you can use the same tip. It doesn't cost much to attain the special tips and you are better off without the damage.

Agreed. You should invest the minimal amount of cash it takes to use the right tip from CVA or similar manufacturer.

Deformation of that tip is really going to kill your accuracy. Same with the HP's. They have three different tips for each of the Powerbelts.

I just use the opposite end of my ramrod. It has the regular semi-round end and then it has the end that accepts screw-in accessories. I know for a fact that the open end does not disfigure the bullet because I unloaded it by pushing the bullet through the breech, and it was OK.

I do what Criggster does. The Powerbelts slide down so easily that they don't deform if you use the right end of the ramrod.

For what it is worth I wouldn't worry about the aerotip on the bullet getting damaged with a powerbelt they load so easy the tip wont even "feel" the starter or ramrod. With tight fitting sabots I would say it is nice to have the right loading jig on your rod/starter.
